Vital Physiotherapy is a Highly ranked, dynamic customer service-centered multidisciplinary women’s health clinic in mid-town Toronto. We are passionate about pelvic and women’s health and focused on empowering our clients of all ages and stages to achieve their health, fitness and mental health goals. Our team includes, pelvic health physiotherapists, a perinatal chiropractor, Naturopathic Doctors, a Registered Massage Therapist and an incredible Social Worker and Doulas to support you and guide you. Our highly skilled physiotherapists assist clients of all ages and stages with pelvic health issues such as diastasis recti (“mummy tummy”) pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pre-and postnatal conditions as well as labor and delivery support. With designations as Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, our team has undergone extensive training in pelvic-specific techniques. Both professional and sensitive to our clients’ needs, we pride ourselves on providing extraordinary patient-focused care and comprehensive treatment that is grounded in evidence-based medicine. We use a holistic treatment method, recognizing that each person is different and requires a unique approach addressing all aspects of their lifestyle. We run single day and multiday workshops on a whole host of relevant and important topics including: hypnobirthing courses, nutrition for new moms, Prepare to Push workshops; Diastasis Rectus Workshops and Your Birth Dream team where we invite Toronto’s top birth and holistic lifestyle professionals over to teach together with us all about living our best life!


Chana Ross

Recognized and respected by patients and peers, Chana Ross has carved a reputation as an empathetic, effective and passionate practitioner.

After gaining broad experience in treating spinal pain and sports injuries, Chana decided to focus her practice on pelvic health and women’s health physiotherapy. She provides rehabilitation for all forms of pelvic pain and dysfunction as well as prenatal and postpartum physiotherapy.

Chana’s interest in women’s health developed during her pregnancies with her four beautiful children. She has since completed extensive training in the treatment of pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, ano-rectal disorders, chronic pain and prenatal and postpartum conditions. Chana is one of a select number of physiotherapists in Canada with specialized training in labour and delivery and treatment of diastasis recti (“mummy tummy”).

Talia Diamond

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


Talia Diamond is thrilled to join the Vital Physio team as a pelvic health physiotherapist! Talia is the mother of two beautiful, energetic and inquisitive twin girls who loves to use her personal experience as both a pelvic physio and busy mom to support and guide other mammas and help them achieve their heath and fitness goals!

Talia’s wide-ranging experience, together with her empathetic nature have earned Talia a reputation of being both knowledgeable & caring. She has practiced in a variety of settings, with a focus on treating clients with brain & spinal cord injuries, strokes as well as complex orthopedic injuries.

Karin Salzman

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


Known for her calm demeanor, positive outlook and energy, Karin has joined the Vital team equipped with nearly two decades of clinical experience and a passion for empowering patients. Karin’s interest in pelvic health was a natural career progression as she was able to blend and nurture her expertise in physical rehabilitation, a variety of fitness modalities, yoga, meditation and personal experience.

Karin offers her patients the latest, evidence-based treatment approaches as she attends specialized educational opportunities in the field of women’s pelvic health, fitness and wellness.

Julie Bagshaw

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


Julie is a very welcome addition to Vital Physiotherapy! She is known as a passionate and caring pelvic physiotherapist with experience treating a broad range of orthopedic conditions. She has now fully dedicated her time towards her passion of helping individuals with pelvic floor conditions.

She has advanced training in treating rectus diastasis, incontinence, prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, labour and delivery preparation and pregnancy related dysfunction. Julie has further focused her training in the areas of pediatric pelvic floor conditions and managing pelvic floor dysfunction for high intensity athletes (e.g. crossfit, bootcamp).

Sara Buckham

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


Known for her empathetic nature and positive energy, Sara is an experienced physiotherapist who has a passion for pelvic health and women’s health physiotherapy. Sara works side by side with her patients to understand their needs, concerns, and goals. Viewing her client’s health holistically, Sara works diligently to empower and motivate them along their rehab journey. After gaining experience helping patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, Sara jumped at the opportunity to blend her post graduate studies in sport psychology, her passion for pain science and pelvic health by joining the Vital Physiotherapy team. She is excited to help clients take charge of their pelvic health! Outside of work, Sara lives for the outdoors and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family!

Kimberly Landreville

Registered Massage Therapist


Kimberly is an exceptionally experienced and passionate Massage Therapist who has been working in the field for over 10 years. She has vast experience treating all musculoskeletal issues and is certified in Hatha yoga and reflexology. Kimberly is thrilled to join the Vital Physiotherapy team! Using a holistic treatment approach, Kimberly ensures that each of her clients receives a personalized plan, addressing their unique needs

Dr. Shaila Callaghan

Chiropractic Doctor


Dr. Shaila is a family chiropractor with a strong focus in prenatal care, postnatal care and pediatrics. She is certified in the Webster technique (specific to pregnant women) and has been expertly trained by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. As a mom, she understands the value and importance of raising healthy families with proactive health practices. Using her advanced training in a variety of techniques, along with her intuition and knowledge of the body, she has successfully cared for hundreds of patients in all stages of pregnancy and of all ages. Dr. Shaila graduated Summa Cum Laude from McMaster University in 2007 and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, receiving the Vern Welsh Memorial Award for excellence in radiology upon her graduation in 2011. She is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and maintains an active membership with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Rehana Meru

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist


With her positive and caring personality, Rehana is passionate about empowering her clients to build on their strengths and harness their motivations to support their overall quality of life. She strives to push the boundaries of traditional rehabilitation through the use of complimentary approaches and aims to create a safe and open environment to discuss pelvic health, stigma and social constructs. She is a sought-after educator and has provided guest lectures on Complimentary Therapies in Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto, Durham College and Humber College. Rehana has had advanced training in pelvic health physiotherapy including pregnancy, pelvic pain, incontinence and oncology related pelvic dysfunction. Rehana also has experience working with individuals who have sustained brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopaedic injuries. Rehana is also an instructor and volunteer at Wheel Dance; a program providing wheelchair ballroom and Latin dance opportunities to individuals with ambulatory limitations. Outside of work, Rehana loves to dance – whether it be ballroom or Bollywood, hip hop or wheelchair dance, you can always find Rehana lacing up her dancing shoes!

Agnes Budyn

Agnes is known for her compassionate, caring and calm nature. As the newest member of the Vital Physiotherapy team, Agnes is very excited and eager to change the lives of her prenatal and postpartum clients and clients with pelvic health conditions. These characteristics, combined with years of experience working with diverse clientele in orthopaedic physiotherapy, and the birth of her two children have led her to develop a passion for pelvic health. In addition to being a busy mom of two adorable and lively children, Agnes brings her deep personal experience to encourage, empower and support her clients to ensure they thrive. She loves to ensure her knowledge and skills are up to date through active participation in courses and reading latest research in pelvic health. Agnes can’t wait to work with you!
